Fabulous Front Entrances :: A rustic gate made from branches...

While walking in my neighbourhood the other day,
I happened across this rather gorgeous,
definitely rustic,
gate made from fallen branches.
So delightfully simple, yet so very beautiful.

I guess it wouldn't keep out stampedes of wild elephants,
but I haven't noticed any elephants around here lately,
so this does rather nicely!
Do you like it?

  1. Super interesting! Have a great week!

  2. I do! And it is funny that you should mention the elephants because it reminds me of one of the gates at the Western entrance to the Serengheti!

  3. I love rusticity. My dad bought an old farm once and the house had verandah posts made from tree trunks with branches. I think it was well before it's time because I saw an architect designed house recently with the same thing! x

  4. Love it! Love the reuse of natures gifts especially when it is practical and beautiful. Love and skill involved in the making. Thankyou! Cynthia
