Would you care for a little Sparkling, perhaps?

There's something magically enchanting about the weekend
and its possibilities for sparkling adventures.
While every single day is a chance to celebrate the fabulous,
it's on the weekend,
when there is a little more time to linger,
that there always seems to be a little more sparkle around.
Perhaps it's a glass of bubbles on Saturday afternoon,
before the theatre at 8.
Or a Sunday picnic with a vintage wicker basket,
filled with Champagne,
smoked salmon & asparagus rolls and rich chocolate tart.
Perhaps it's the chance to dress up with just a little more sparkle than usual.
Or maybe it's the carefree glamour
of knowing there are two delicious days of relaxing.
Whatever the magic is,
I hope you get sprinkled by the fairy dust of enchantment,
and have a truly sparkly weekend.

    1. Hello gorgeous one! Oh yes, our tickets are waiting for us at the theatre - we can meet in the bar for our glass of apres sparkling. Can't wait to see Chorus Line - hope it's fabulous! V x

    1. Hello dear Karena - a Valentine themed anything sounds lovely, but as one of your wonderful giveaways, it is sure to be something totally luscious. V x

  4. i'd love to borrow that yellow dress for later. what a luscious post! xx

    1. Oh yes, yellow is one of your favourite colours, isn't it? And you have the fab legs to carry off that yellow dress in style Stacey! V x

  5. Well now reeeaally, Virginia. Yet another example where you have out done yourself entirely. Not to mention I felt that you did this post just for me! But who doesn't like sparkling (aside from the gloomy model featured, perhaps she is angry for being forced to wear such high heels)? Let alone Henry Clarke and vintage Tattinger posters? We are invited to lunch today and this post inspired me to dress up a bit--I am officially tired of tweedy brown--there! I've said it!

    Gros bisous...

    1. Thank you darling Heather! Thrilled that this inspired you to add a little more sparkle to your lunch outfit. Now that you mention it, the model does look a little cranky. Kind of a nice contrast with the prettiness of the dress, though. Hope your lunch is fabulous! And full of sparkly conversations. V x

    2. Hello there! We got there at 1:15 and left at 6:30pm! :) It felt so good to dress just a bit nicer than usual. Again, thanks for the inspiration!!

  6. Oh yeah baby! I love the sparkly dresses, the cuff and that ring!!!! Divine. Wish i could wear shoes like those though. How high are they?!!! I can but now reminice. At least my feet are blister free though!
