Groovy 60s House :: Project Update :: Green Tiles are Go!

There are some exciting developments happening at the
Groovy 1960s House renovation and extension.
I popped in to have a look at progress today,
and this is what the boys have been busy installing...

The 1960s were such a fabulous decade for fashion and for architecture.
So much wonderful inspiration.

The renovations are almost done - and soon the clients will have themselves
a very groovy, re-loved, 1960s home.

Can you imagine what wonderful parties they will be able to throw?

    1. Really? How wonderful. I love those swing coats and have a ridiculous number of vintage ones in my wardrobe. But living in Melbourne, they get used! Our last 2 summers here have been very cool too - we'll get a big shock if it goes back to being hot again this year.

  4. Very groovy! I once had a bathroom with dark greeny turquoise mosaic tiles and loved it. The white button tiles are interesting too x

  7. It says so much about the strength of your talent that you are slowly winning me over with your projects so that I am ready to get into my carriage and be carried into modern times! I love all of this.
    Bon weekend,

    1. Oh really? Wow, that's no mean feat!!!

And isn't it interesting, the relativity of "modern times" - when we are discussing an era 50 years ago. I guess what I am trying to do, is encourage people to see the beauty in any era and celebrate it for what it is. Which applies whether it is 500 or 50 or 5 years old.

And I am very chuffed at your compliment! Thank you.
