DIY: gold leaf paper mache bowl

With a rustic, imperfectly perfect shape,
this little bowl has been made from paper mache
crafted around a balloon,
then brushed with gold leaf.
You can find the DIY instructions here.

What a cute idea! I've seen some stunning porcelain hand-thrown bowls with molten metal interiors that are to die for but this is a quickly accessible idea! Hooray!

  7. Yes, it would be a lovely thing to make both with, and without, children I think Anya. Would make gorgeous Christmas bowls, filled with nuts. Vxx

  9. Hello Renee. I think the fact that it is so imperfect gives it lots of charm, and yes, coolness too! Vxx
