On the Market: Herringbone floors & French Doors

Tucked around the corner from the Botanic Gardens,
this warm + welcoming home is the kind that grows on one.
Always love a glass roof,
{despite their rather impractical nature},
but they do create a magical starlit night sky for dining.
And any house that has a serious library of books
always gets my attention.
Especially ones with high level clerestory windows.
Enticing French doors lead to charming terraces.
Windows abound from every spot.
Hmmm...it is certainly growing on me.
That alfresco terrace would be somewhat lovely
for pretty breakfasts of lattes + brioche.

What do you think?
Would you like to live here?

  1. Yes, I think I could give living here a go! Love parquet floors and that green arch is amazing. Thanks for your comments on the scrubs by the way. And yes, you're so right - wouldn't they make a great gift in a pretty jar? Claire

  2. Heh Virginia. Hoping you are FANTASTIC!!
I fell in love with parquetry flooring way back when we were renting when we first moved to Melbourne. We viewed a flat in Kew with this amazing flooring throughout - and it had the best kitchen (old/dated but still the best) and even though we didn't actually get to rent there (too expensive for a couple of 20yo's) I still remember those floors.
So, in answer to your 'would you like to live here' - most definately (well, most definately if it was on a big block so we could keep the chooks!!!)

Have a great week (-: Linda
