Before & After: This is Clever!

Can you believe that this stunning balloon back chair,
covered with Florence Broadhurst fabric,
used to look like this...
Yeah...a bit tragic in the original state. 
But perhaps with a new colour scheme,
and a bit of stunning fabric...
Oh yes, nice choice!
This inspired makeover was by the inimitable
interior designer Camilla Molders.
Faced with a shrinking budget on a project, 
she put her thinking hat on to find affordable furniture.
But in my book, they look a million dollars.

    antique chairs when painted, or even better; lacquered.
    and the covered in a great fabric really looks hip in my eyes. xx

    What an exciting transformation! The chairs are absolutely splendid and so very stylish. The material with which they are covered is, in our view, wonderful and would add an 'edge' to a traditional setting whilst being most suitable in modern surroundings.

    Such an original idea!
